Safer, Quicker, More Convenient

Imagine cutting up to thirty minutes of commuting time. This is the benefit New Pantai Highway offers motorist using Jalan Subang Utama, Jalan Klang Lama or Jalan Pantai Dalam and heading toward Kuala Lumpur as their final destination (or vice-versa).

Operational since 2nd April 2004, the intra-urban 19.6 kilometre-long New Pantai Highway is expected to significantly alleviate traffic congestion along Federal Highway Route II caused by thousands of vehicles plying the route every day.

New Pantai Highway has three links:

  • an east-west dual 3-lane carriageway link between Subang Jaya and the exiting Kuala Lumpur - Seremban Highway,

  • a dual 3-lane carriageway link between the Federal Highway Route II at Petaling Jaya Selatan and the junction of Taman Maju Jaya, and,

  • a dual 2-lane carriageway link between Pantai Dalam and Jalan Bangsar.

With these links, motorists traveling to and from Subang Jaya and Kuala Lumpur city centre via Jalan Bangsar will find New Pantai Highway the more convenient alternative.
